Holly Hobbie y sus chanchitos
Esta vez les traigo dos de mis personajes favoritos! Son en su nombre original Toot and Puddle, aunque en sus traducciones en Francés se llaman Pit & Pat y en su versión en castellano son Choni y Chano.
Ellos son la creación de Holly Hobbie, una ilustradora Americana muy reconocida por estos personajes y por otro todavía más famoso llamado como ella “Holly Hobbie”. Vaya lo que es la mercadotecnia., en estos dos personajes que les comento ya hay muñecos, películas y tantísimo parafernalia como para llenar un cuarto entero!
En fin, a mi los que me encantan son los chanchitos, están hechos con acuarela y las ilustraciones tienen una técnica alucinante, de verdad, si se cruzan en su camino cualquiera de los libros de la serie *que ya son varios*, no duden en hojearlos y ver a detalle las imágenes, esta mujer es un genio de la acuarela! Por Dios!!!! (Yo soy oficial coleccionista de sus libros.)

This time I have to show you two of my most favorite characters! Their original names are Toot and Puddle, in French they are Pit & Pat and in Spanish Choni and Chano.
They are the creation of Holly Hobbie, a very recognized American illustrator because of these two little piglets and because of a little girl with her same name “Holly Hobbie” who is even more famous nowadays. Wow, marqueting is huge with this 2 series; there are dolls, movies, and so much paraphernalia to fill up a room!
Anyway, the ones I prefer are the two piglets, they are made of watercolor and the illustrations have an amazing technique, really, if you run into this series of Toot and Puddle, *which are many already*, stop and take a look to the details of the images, this woman is a genius of the watercolor, unbelievable! (I’m an official collector of her books).
