Hola! Hoy les traigo a una ilustradora Portuguesa que tiene unos muy lindos libros!!!! Ella es Marta Torrao. Nace en Lisboa en 1974, ha ilustrado varios libros infantiles y participado en varias exposiciones colectivas, incluyendo la de ilustradores de la Feria de Bologna. En el 2004 gano el Premio Nacional de Ilustración de Portugal, por su libro: "Come a sopa Marta!"
Yo tengo su libro "Pájaros en la Cabeza" (Ed. Kalandraka)y es hermoso, lo recomiendo muchísimo, ya les pondré algunas ilustraciones del mismo la próxima semana.
Bueno, no hay mucha info. de ella en la web, pero creo que con ver las portadas de sus libros, se antojan no??? Vayan a las ilustraciones para saber mas!

Hello! Today I want you to meet a Portuguese illustrator who has some nice books!!! She is Marta Torrao. Marta was born in Lisbon in 1974 and has illustrated many children books; she has formed part of many colective exhibits including the one of Bologna’s Fair. In 2004 she won the National Prize of Illustration of Portugal with her book: “Eat your soup Marta!”
I have her book “Birds on the head” (Kalandraka) and it is beautiful, I really recommend it, I will talk about it next wee and show you some inside illustrations.
Well, there is not much info about her on the internet, but I think just seeing at her books covers makes you feel like reading them, isn’t it???
