Este si fue un encuentro maravilloso, el blog del ilustrador mexicano Gabriel Pacheco, quien coincidentemente es un buen amigo mio y padrino de este blog *mi primer post en el 2005 es precisamente de él.
Para contarles un poquito mas acerca de su profundo trabajo, ganó el XIV Catálogo de Ilustradores de Publicaciones Infantiles y Juveniles 2004 del CONACULTA, con su obra Llona y ese mismo año su obra resultó elegida como el primer lugar de entre 500 participantes en el Concurso Internacional de Ilustración de la Asociación Teatrio de Chioggia, Venecia. Aparte tiene ya un buen número de libros publicados como lo son: "El pollito de la Avellaneda" Ed. Kalandraka, "Hago de voz un cuerpo" de la colección "A la orilla del Viento" del FCE, "Circo de Voces" Ed. Alfaguara Infantil y uno de los cuatro volúmenes de "Cuentos completos de Grimm" Ed. Anaya, entre otros...
Como lo he dicho ya una vez, un buen amigo imaginario... un maravilloso ilustrador... y un gran exponente del talento mexicano.

This is in fact a wonderful surprise, the blog of Gabriel Pacheco, who coincidentally is a good friend of mine and the godfather of this blog, *my first post back in 2005 is about him.
To tell you more about his work, he won the first place in the XIV Catalog of illustrators of Children Publications of the CONACULTA in Mexico in 2004 with his work titled "Llona" and the same year his work was also winner of the first place among 500 illustrators in the international contest of the Teatrio Association of Chioggia, Venice. He has a good number of books published already as: "El pollito de la Avellaneda" Ed. Kalandraka, "Hago de voz un cuerpo" from the colection "A la orilla del Viento" of the FCE, "Circo de Voces" Ed. Alfaguara Infantil and one of the four volumes of "Cuentos completos de Grimm" Ed. Anaya, among others...
As I said it already once, a good imaginary friend... a wonderful illustrator... and a gret exposer of the mexican talent.
